When mapping out a timeline, keep in mind that each photographer has a different idea of how much time they need for certain types of photos. Whether family portraits are more important than ceremony photos, we want to prioritize what matters most.

Do a first look. This will be one of the few opportunities you will have to be with only each other before the wedding starts. You will have a chance to get all those family and bridal photos done and not be in such a rush.

The biggest regret I hear from couples is not hiring a videographer. You want them there to capture all the big moments, especially for the ceremony and toasts. It's the best way to relive the night.

When I meet with couples, I sit down with them and immediately sketch out a timeline for their day. Many times they havent thought that far ahead. Putting the day in perspective, in regards to photography, helps visualize their day way sooner than they realize.
